Jeannie Zusy created Turkish Delight as an artist in residency at The Barrow Group, NYC, working with Artistic Director/ director Lee Brock. Her novel The Frederick Sisters Are Living the Dream, published by Simon & Schuster/Atria Books, was called a “powerful debut” by Publishers Weekly, and chosen as a Best Book of the Year by Real Simple. She is currently adapting it for the screen with Oscar-winning director Eric Simonson. Her plays, essays, and poems have been published in McSweeney’s, Today, Purple Clover, and the Best Plays by Women collection, Smith & Kraus. She and her husband artist John Cote are currently collaborating on a children’s book. She acted off-Broadway in several productions including her own short plays.
