Come to a live production of the latest thriller by local author Sam Rebelein (“A major new talent!” – R.L. Stine), a year before the book hits shelves! Read by a full cast of actors, we’ll be fixing typos, patching plot holes, and more, as we read through the entire book together. It will take us FIVE evenings to read through it, and people who attend all five shows will recieve a special prize. We’ll have exclusive merch, books available for purchase, and maybe a ghost or two.

About Sam and the Crew!

Sam Rebelein writes and teaches in Poughkeepsie, NY. His short fiction has appeared in PseudoPod, The Deadlands, Press Pause Press, Ellen Datlow’s prestigious Best Horror of the Year, and elsewhere. His debut novel EDENVILLE was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award, and won the Wonderland Book Award for Best Novel. His first collection of interconnected short fiction, THE POORLY MADE AND OTHER THINGS, and his recent novel GALLOWAY’S GOSPEL, are all set in the same fictional upstate New York county as EDENVILLE. Kristin Battersby, Michael Rinere, and Vin Craig are all local actors living in Beacon. They’ve helped Sam read through and copyedit his last three books, and will probably be helping with many more to come.
