Ranging from meditative to quirky, join flutist Katrina Owens in an eclectic journey for electronic sounds and flutes.
Flutist, Katrina Owens, is currently principal flutist of the United States Military Academy Band at West Point. Before joining the West Point Band in 2014, Katrina performed in the Dallas area with the Madera Wind Quintet and the Lone Star Wind Orchestra as well as teaching private lessons extensively. She regularly performs with the Woodstock Symphony Orchestra in addition to being an in demand soloist and collaborator in the Hudson Valley. She holds music degrees from the University of North Texas and George Mason University. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys hiking and building Lego creations with her two young boys (Alec and Evan), and her husband, Bill.
