Every show features the best and brightest stars in Stand-Up comedy from all around the country —
This weekend features Derek Humphrey (featured on “Nateland Presents”, in the New York Comedy Festival, The Boston Comedy Festival, Skankfest and was named one of “New York’s Funniest” by TBS), Brian Brossi (three-time winner of the Inspired Word’s LOL! Comedy Slam, TMZ, 25 Sets, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime) and hosted by Linette Palladino, as seen on HBO and named New Jersey’s Funniest Female & Pudge Fernandez (Kill Tony Podcast, Comedy Time TV, The Harlem Comedy Festival, and The Five Borough Comedy Festival.)
Derek Humphrey is an urban hick with an uncanny wit. Born in a single-wide trailer in Detroit, Derek has been a high school dropout, laborer, hotelier and veteran of the US Navy. War and hospitality were not painful enough so he entered show business. Derek is now a New York City based comic and actor. As a comic, Derek recently released his first special and album “Late Bloomer” which reached #1 in the world on iTunes. His acting work has been featured in the award winning play “Race: The Play: The Movie” with campaigns for Gillette and appearances on Fox, MTV and ABC. You can follow Derek on Venmo at @humpderek.
Brian Grossi has been quick-witted and imitating those around him for as long as anyone can remember. Shortly after starting to do stand-up, he was invited to perform at the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta and recorded his first television appearance as part of Popcorn Flix Presents Empire Tonight! In 2018, he made his debut at the New York Comedy Festival by teaming up with Carmen Lynch, Santi Espinosa and Chano Garcia to produce Risas del Barrio, the only show of the festival performed entirely in Spanish. In 2019, he appeared in the Aaron Berg documentary 25 Sets, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. More recently, he’s opened for Netflix’s Antonio Sanint (Colombia), Goyo Jimenez (Spain) and Galder Varas (Spain) in Spanish and was invited to perform for Miami Dolphins when they were playing in London. He also returned to the New York Comedy Festival in 2021 to co-produce Risas del Barrio again, this time being featured in People! en Español. He is a three-time winner of the Inspired Word’s LOL! Comedy Slam, and has been seen on TMZ. This past year, he appeared at The Comedy Mothership in Austin, TX and made his debut with Don’t Tell Comedy.
