Our Host,

Don Romaniello has been improvising for most of his life. His instructors at the Magnet Theater included Ed Herbstman, Christian Capozzoli, and Armando Diaz. Don has conceived, produced, and directed groundbreaking shows including Tap, Rococo Puffs, The Mask Show, Bump, and Feedback. Don also founded a cooperative improv theatre in Brooklyn, The Commons. In the Hudson Valley, he has shared and created a flurry of forms, set the standard for professional improv productions, and introduced Beacon’s first contemporary long form improv institution, Prometheus Studios.
